Life doesn't get easier or more forgiving; we get stronger and more resilient.

Emotions come and go like waves, and seeking counseling can feel like a vulnerable experience. With the belief that counseling is tailored to the individual needs of the person, I have a supportive and strengths-based approach, customized to your unique story of grief, loss, transition, or trauma.
My expertise is in grief recovery, and I understand that grief is an experience impacting both the mind and body, an evolving process most successful with support. I work to create a place of safety and acceptance in which you can comfortably explore the direction best suited for your personal healing and wholeness.

After being raised in Murfreesboro, I moved away for college, graduate school, and professional experience. I returned to the Boro a few years ago after gaining valuable counseling experience, working in various environments in pursuit of helping people develop resilience and hopefulness. I commend the courage it takes to ask for help, and I appreciate the opportunity to walk with you on your path.

I hold a certification in grief counseling and specialize in working with people through grief, loss, and life transitions. For additional resources, please visit Grief.com.

These are areas that impact many people to various degrees, and I have a great deal of experience in working with people experiencing depression and anxiety issues.

As a result of my training and experience, I am also a Tennessee state board-approved supervisor for counselors working towards their LPC licensure. Supervising burgeoning clinicians helps keep me up-to-date with the latest research and trends in the mental health field which benefits my clients.
